At J Sinclair Engineering we offer our customer's an extensive range of services, from parts and maintenance to total machine refurbishments.
We own a large range of genuine John Heine drawings and designs. We can manufacture a broad range of replacement parts on request.
Castings/Patterns and Parts
At J Sinclair Engineering we hold most of the patterns for the castings of the smaller John Heine machinery. We also hold many of the internal pattern designs for many of the larger John Heine machinery. Most John Heine parts can be manufactured on request using the original drawings and designs. We stock a broad variety of popular parts at our workspace. We also carry a large inventory of genuine used spare parts and John Heine machinery.
We still manufacture the popular and sort after 42J machines (Jenny/Swagger) carrying all parts and wheels in stock.

Service & Maintenance
During a service most major parts are inspected, for example the clutch keys are checked for chips/cracks, fit & tolerance. Flywheels are removed to inspect the clutch components, bearings are repacked with grease, conrod and mains bushes are measured and clearances recorded. Brake, vee belts, lube systems & motor mounts are all visually inspected as well as bed areas measured. Guillotine blades are checked and reset if required.
A comprehensive service report is supplied for each press service with clear details on what has been conducted and repaired on the machine. Any recommendations of upcoming service and repairs are also listed. Most of our clients service their presses on a 6 or 12 month basis depending on the use of the machine.

Repairs & Replacements
John Heine machinery repairs and replacements can be conducted onsite or at our workspace if required. Blade removal, regrind & sharpening is available on request. We now offer precision slide way grinding.
Breakdowns
Breakdowns happen, and the last thing you need is a machine out of production. At J Sinclair Engineering we stock a broad range of commonly used parts to ensure minimal downtime. All breakdowns are scheduled on a priority system to ensure all our clients are looked after in a timely manner.
Refurbishment
J Sinclair Engineering can also refurbish your John Heine machinery. Machines can be stripped, painted, oiled/greased, parts replaced and repairs carried out. Your John Heine machine can be made to look new again. From time to time we do sell second hand John Heine machinery and we can refurbish it to your specifications.
