Our new look 42J's in production
Overhauling a John Heine Friction Air Clutch at Bankstown Factory. This Air Clutch was removed from a 255A Press. The 255A is a large metal stamping press. A standard overhaul would include new bearings, remachine clutch and brake drive faces, replace fibre plates and replace all seals.
Here we have two refurbished presses, a 207AG Series 4 and a 206A Series 3 ready to be delivered to our customer.
Here we have a coining press being overhauled, these presses were mainly used for stamping badges and medallions. The main drive wheel is driven on leather and the disc's on top are shifted from left to right to enable the screw to go up and down.
Blacksmithing at John Heine's with Jim one of Jeff's many mentors.
